Nia is the name of my drum.
The meaning of Nia is Purpose.

The Purpose is found in Esalen,
In Baba's workshop 1999.

It is to connect from Continent to Continent,
From Africa to Asia.
It is to link my sense of being with my people,
Whom I have come to know as Them.

It is the Bridge.
It is the Center of my Heart.
